I downloaded the new 1.4 version of Gentoo. I read the install file which is on
that cd. 

In the fist purple scheme (under this line: Depending on what stage of the build
process you're starting from, here is what is required for installation: ) there
is a spelling mistake made, which you can see in the summary, "CD 1,") final config.

Sorry I didn't notice this in the pre- versions of this document.
