Description Aydın Tarık Zengin 2009-02-26 19:50:32 UTC
While trying to call landlines (not a PC to PC call), it crashes just before ringing. The second problem is the crashing also when I wait over a contact and hope to see he is active or not. The same result. Crash.

PC2PC calls work well!! That's weird.

Already tried with both alsa and oss.

This problem has been started after upgrading from kde3.5 to kde4.2

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Call a landline
2.Wait over a contact's name to see the activeness
3.

Actual Results:
Both, trying to call landlines and trying to see the contact's activeness the following error occures and gizmo crashes.

The error message is as follow;

gizmo_segv_handle: signum: 6 - SIGABRT in_segv: 1
gizmo_segv_handle: PID: 20178
sh: /opt/gizmo/crash-reporter/crash-reporter: Permission denied
gizmo_segv_handle: Exiting..

There's no such package in the portage tree. As such, there is nothing we can do.
Comment 4 Aydın Tarık Zengin 2009-03-01 15:28:38 UTC
Reopended by reason of the ebuild from official overlay (sunrise)
Comment 5 Serkan Kaba (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-03-01 20:35:50 UTC
Assigning to sunrise.
Comment 6 Thomas Sachau gentoo-dev 2009-03-13 17:00:20 UTC
Adding the people, who mainly touched this package, to CC, maybe then can help a bit more.
Comment 7 Markus Ullmann (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-03-17 13:23:50 UTC
I'd say it's an upstream issue as we can't do anything here (binary package)
