This small program retrieves stocks information from finance.yahoo.com and displays them on your desktop. I made an ebuild for those who were searching for an application like that. You need to provide it the stock symbol you want it to monitor (refer to the yahoo website for that), for example, to monitor euro / yen, add "EURJPY=X" Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:

Thanks for this ebuild However we dont provide plasmoids on the official tree Instead you can try kde-testing overlay which has many plasmoids including this one. Thank you for your answer, I didn't knew this overlay. I think that those packages should be present on the main tree, it would be more convenient for most of the users.
