Description Florian Streibelt 2009-02-23 01:58:48 UTC
The utility to subscribe somebody to a mailinglist from the commandline checks if the given emailadress seems valid and only adds the subscriber if it thinks the addres is valid.
But the return code is alway zero, so the calling process like the webinterface can not check if the subscription failed or not.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
in case of FAIL:
$ /usr/bin/mlmmj-sub -L /var/spool/mlmmj/mlmmj-test -s -a booboo && echo OK
ok

on SUCCESS we see one more line of output:
$ /usr/bin/mlmmj-sub -L /var/spool/mlmmj/mlmmj-test -s -a foobar@gentoo.org && echo ok
Changing to uid 81, owner of /var/spool/mlmmj/mlmmj-test.
ok
