Bug 259909 – app-text/kchmviewer-4.0 doesn't show russian files

Today i find that latest version of kchmviewer do not show russian files correctly.

See example at screenshot.

Russian text shows correctly only in left side of screen.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open kchmviewer
2. Open any russian chm-file

It should be image/png, not text/plain.

Please, go to KchmVeiwer setting > Version specific changes and select QTextBrowser-based widget. Does this fixes your problem?

That's workaround but not a fix. Let's keep this bug open until it'll be fixed.

Upstream developer told me that probably font change may make this webkit engine work. Probably if you find some font that'll work that helps. At this point somebody needs to debug this problem further.

@kde: I suspect that this is webkit bug. Are there any webkit gurus in kde team who could help us to find anything useful to report upstream?
