No comments have been made on this bug report for some time. Is anyone still interested in integration of this package? If yes, please indicate that here in this bug report. Otherwise we'll resolve the bug in the near future, since sci(-*) has an extremely large number of pending package requests and we would like to focus...
Am sorting out now with upstream what are the diffs and deps of this package, license, etc. I think this package will boil down (currently provides also binaries of other tools) to just the perl scripts and depend on these already in science overlay: caftools, staden, gap2caf. sff_dump package we do not have yet.
In science overlay are now under sci-biology: align_to_scf, sff_dump, caftools, roche454ace2caf. I only wonder what in roche454ace2gap is written in ksh-specific syntax. I wish upstream changes that into bash-like style once.
