There is no network interfaces in 'System Monitor - Network', plasma applet (plasma-applet-sm_net).

Actual Results:
Empty list.

Expected Results:
There should be available network interfaces.

Problem still exists in newer, KDE 4.2.1 packages.

In order to have it working you need to have a valid network management backend. Currently there is only one backend available - NetworkManager 0.7.

It's hardmasked in the tree. To have it working you need to unmask it, emerge it,and rebuild SOLID with networkmanager use flag.
