Description Steve Kutnar 2009-02-20 13:46:39 UTC
After emerging the latest djvu with USE flags nsplugin and qt3, my /usr/lib64/nsbrowser/plugins directory contains only nsdejavu.so.0, which does not appear as a plugin in Firefox. Even after creating a symlink to this file as nsdejavu.so, the plugin still does not appear in Firefox (after restarting Firefox),

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge latest djvu with nsplugin and qt3 USE flags enabled
2. examine nsbrowser/plugins directory
3. examine about:plugins or Tools --> Addons --> Plugins tab in Firefox
4. optionally, attempt to create symlink nsdejavu.so pointing to nsdejavu.so.0 and notice it still doesn't work

Actual Results:
Plugin doesn't work

Expected Results:
Plugin should appear in locations mentioned in item 3 above.

Thank you for report Steve. What firefox version do you have? Everything works here with 3.0.5...
Comment 2 Steve Kutnar 2009-02-23 13:20:44 UTC
Firefox 3.0.6
Comment 3 Steve Kutnar 2009-02-23 13:30:30 UTC
Okay, something very odd here... Peter, your comment prompted me to rebuild djvu again. This time, it worked. Now I'm wondering what changed the situation... I recently did a sync and updated, plus a lot of other cleanup.

I'm closing this bug since I'm unable to reproduce this problem.
