When the newsletter link on the homepage was updated to target the GMN archives, the old GWN archives page was orphaned. It's not linked from the home page or the GMN archive page and seems to be accessible only if you know or have bookmarked the direct URL (http://www.gentoo.org/news/en/gwn/gwn.xml). Even the gwn and gmn project pages do not have links. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Visit http://www.gentoo.org/. 2. Look for a link to GWN (not GMN) archives. 3. Follow the top- or side-menu link to the GMN. 4. Repeat step 2. Actual Results: GMN archives have replaced the GWN archives. Expected Results: Both GMN and GWN archives should be accessible to site visitors. Since the GWN is obsolete it is reasonable to link to the weekly archives (http://www.gentoo.org/news/en/gwn/gwn.xml) from the monthly archives, perhaps with text such as "Older issues: Gentoo Weekly Newsletter archives."
I added a link to the GWN archives on the GWN project page in /proj/en/pr/gwn/. We do the same thing for the GMN. And anyway, the front page links to the news will probably be changing soon, as there are other changes in the works for Gentoo news sources. So . . . all that to say "fixed in CVS." :)
