Emerging from the new sci-misc/boinc-6.4.5-r1 does not install libcudart.so into the customary directory (on my system: /var/lib/boinc/). Following suggestions at http://www.gpugrid.net/forum_thread.php?id=592, I copied the file to /var/lib/boinc/ and the manager appears to find it. My system is still not running again after emerging the new ebuild, but this appears to be a different problem. It is also not instaling them :] The cuda is detected and worked with by initscript :] And it creates symlink as needed. See the cuda_check function in its initscript for usage :] And you should do etc-update if you dont have such.
