media-sound/audacious-1.5.1-r1 with media-plugins/audacious-plugins-1.5.1-r3 on amd64 segfaults as normal user (not as root). A detailed description what happens and what causes the segfault can be seen in http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-734756-highlight-audacious.html?sid=68b664b717793c47eddb70e9c061209a I dont know what was the initial cause of the problem, one day after nothing unusual happened it was reproducable until the $HOME/.config/audacious directory was removed Reproducible: Always audacious should not segfault, but show a descriptive error regarding the problem. Feel free to contact me if you need further information.
Please test audacious-2.0.1, reporting bugs on old version isn't sane. Reopen if it's still a problem.
