In "man 5 ebuild", the example at the top shows "econf || die", but then later in the man, there is a line saying "*Note: There is no need to use '|| die' because econf checks for you." skel.ebuild says "Note that econf will die on failure, but plase use econf || die for consistency." (typo in the file that should be fixed as well) These need to all match up somehow, the whole "|| die" thing is rather confusing to someone making an ebuild for the first time. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Expected Results: Basically, all of the different places need to provide the same information on whether to use "econf" or "econf || die".
they're inconsistent because noone agrees with me on the point ... and well i write the man pages ;) updated the manpage on cvs, thanks
