Description Till Korten 2009-02-15 13:55:02 UTC
This ebuild applys a recent patch to the intel graphics driver. The patch fixes sdvo-tv out for intel GM950 on board graphics (e.g. the D945GCLF2 Atom board).

for more details on the fixed bug see the free desktop bugzilla:
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17776

This is my first posted ebuild, so please be lenient if I forgot some info :)

Best Regards

Could you give me the commit id instead? It makes handling patches easier for me.

Thanks

Sorry for the late reply, I missed your comment.

I am not sure what you mean by commit ID. Do you mean the direct link to the attachment on bugs.freedesktop.org? That would be:
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=22848
If you mean the commit ID in the versioning system (git), I don't know that one.

Although Tthe SVDO patch you linked works on its own, I really don't feel it's safe enough to include without all the other SVDO changes that happened in the driver.

Feel free to keep your patch in a local ebuild, it'll be included in the upcoming 2.7 releases. (The next 2.7 RC will go to portage, the first 2 ones were too broken).

Thanks
