Description Tristan Henderson 2003-08-03 04:00:54 UTC
I recently upgraded to media-libs/libexif-0.5.10 and got the following error when trying to use
imagemagick:

palmer:/> mogrify
mogrify: error while loading shared libraries: libexif.so.8: cannot open shared object file: No such
file or directory

rebuilding media-libs/imagemagick resolved this, but I guess libexif should be added as an
dependency? It's not essential for imagemagick to work, but imagemagick uses it if it is present on
the system.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

palmer:/> emerge info
Portage 2.0.48-r7 (default-1.0, gcc-2.95.3, glibc-2.2.5-r8)

we don't want to have a fully featured programm every time
sometimes we need a small system (server)

possible solutions:
use flags
