dev-python/numpy-1.2.1 fails when running numpy.test(). The error message is:
ImportError: Need nose >= 0.10.0 for tests 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. ipython
2. import numpy
3. numpy.test()
Actual Results:

OK. The ebuild does not correctly enforce dependence on dev-python/nose. If a correct version of dev-python/nose is installed, then everything works. I do not know how to change ebuild, but I have pinpointed the cause.

Another thing is, I think there is a typo with cblas being written as cbas. It apparently doesn't affect building the package.

Hi,

Yes, nose is needed for tests, and the ebuild correctly depends on it when testing is enabled. It is a matter of taste for the run-time dependency on nose, you don't need nose for all packages depending on numpy, so I decided not to add it. Basically if a user wants to test numpy, either he tests at emerge time with FEATURES=test or installs nose separately.
