Description Mike Valstar 2003-08-02 11:10:34 UTC
when you emerge a version of opera 7+ then try to use emerge netscape-flash,
everything emerges fine.. but opera does not display any flash pages. if i
emerge an old version of openmotif 2.1.30-r30 it works fine (i am also told
that if i emegre lestif that will fix it, havent tried this). i have also
submitted this bug to opera

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge opera 7 (7.11)
2.emerge netscape-flash
3.try to play something with flash

Actual Results:
flash will not work

Expected Results:
flash will work :)

I'll take this one. What you have to do is emerge lesstiff, as well.

This is fixed in CVS with opera-7.11-r2.

Well, Opera 7.20 comes with "openmotifwrapper-3" but the opera 7.20 ebuild still uses lesstif. You just need to do "mv openmotifwrapper-3 openmotifwrapper" before calling install.sh.
Opera doesn't select the right wrapper yet, that may be added in future version.

Opera 7.11 doesn't offer "openmotifwrapper-3" :-(
