Description Emmanuel Andry 2009-02-04 00:55:32 UTC
When running as the default boinc user, CUDA device is not found.
Tried to run boinc_client as my user, CUDA device is detected.

Seems to be a missing permission for boinc user to access the device

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Ensure you've a CUDA-capable device
2. Launch boinc and watch log about cuda - no cuda device detected
3. Configure boinc so it can be run as your normal user - cuda device detected

There is note about you have to add the boinc user to video group.
Read up the elog after boinc install.
Wontfix cause ebuild provides you all relevant informations already.

Sorry, but I don't remember this message after emerge. Tried 'gpasswd -a boinc video', but same issue
