gift-gnutella and gift-openft install common files in, e.g, /usr/share/Gnutella instead of /usr/share/giFT/Gnutella. So when giftd starts for the first time and tries to copy necessary config files to user's home dir, it doesn't find them because they are in a bad location. gift-fasttrack is not affected by this. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge gift-gnutella or gift-openft 2. start giftd -v 3. look at the error messages
Created attachment 15399 [details] gift-gnutella-0.0.4.ebuild (Fixed ebuild) That's one, one fix0red ebuild, hah hah hah! ::) -- Daniel Mannarino
Created attachment 15400 [details] gift-openft-0.1.0.5.ebuild (Fixed ebuild) That's two, TWO fix0red ebuilds, hah hah hah! Note, after you install the OpenFT plugin (perhaps others) you will want to re-run gift-setup (hurray, they changed the darn case!). -- Daniel Mannarino
