The Power Management settings page reports the following status: PowerDevil was compiled without Xext support, or the XSync extension is not available. XSync grants extra efficiency and performance, saving your battery and CPU. It is advised to use PowerDevil with XSync enabled. There are no relevant use flags for powerdevil. Click the 'Capabilities' tab 5. Read 'Status' description Actual Results: The message above Expected Results: To have a use flag to enable xsync / xext support in powerdevil so that it could take advantage of it.
Actualy i am more of in fawor of making kde depending on whole >=x11-base/xorg-x11-7.4. We shall see how i talk it out with other devs.
Ok kde-*.eclass will have this support soon, so far it is in kde testing. Closing now so i wont forget on that :] (it will be fixed in next eclass oportunity window, which i hope will be at some point at the end of this month :])
