Building Sendmail should create a number of hard links of which some are not being built. newaliases, mailq and smtpd have not be built on my system.Their correct names and functions are described in Chapter 15 of "Sendmail" 3rd Edition.

Reproducible: Always



Expected Results:  
newaliases etc. should be built

newaliases for example can be built by the following commands:

# cd /usr/sbin
# ln sendmail newaliases
-----

Did you install sendmail with USE=mailwrapper?
Please add `emerge -pv sendmail` and `emerge --info`.
