Falling back to version 0.3.8, the previous stable version works ok.
I also experience this bug on stable amd64. While writing this comment, I noticed Vasiliy and me are both Russian, which led me to a hypothesis this could be a locale-specific bug. And indeed, running gparted with LC_ALL="C" helps, while LC_ALL="ru_RU.UTF-8" triggers the crash.
