I succesfully installed KDE 4.2.0 (great work on the ebuilds btw) but after a sync it appears that libXrender-0.9.4 was added as a dependency for superkaramba. This version requires you to unmask parts of xorg-server (see also bug #242910 and numerous other bugs), which I'm prepared to do but doesn't seem necessary since it compiled and runs fine with version 0.9.2 here. When 4.2 gets unmasked in portage in a few weeks, libXrender will also need to be unmasked. I suggest just putting the dep on libXrender-0.9.2. Reproducible: Always
Well it was not working the frist time, so i added it, now removed, sorry for inconvinience.
I think it is okay to add it as a dependency if it is clearly needed to build and not installed on systems per default, but perhaps just use >=libXrender-0.9.2 as the atom?
