I tried to install rb_libtorrent-0.14.1 with boost-1.36 and boost-1.37, both of them failures on configuring, after checking the boost's version, while it tries to check for exit in -lboost_system-mt and check for exit in -lboost_system-boost_system-mt, both of them results as "no"

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. autounmask -n dev-libs/boost-1.36.0
2. emerge -va boost
3. emerge -va rb_libtorrent  #(0.13 version)
since that they didn't worked for what i wanted, i tried updating:
4. autounmask -n dev-libs/boost-1.37.0
5. autounmask -n rb_libtorrent-0.14.1
6. emerge -uva boost
7. emerge -uva rb_libtorrent
Actual Results:  
emerge failed:
configure: error: Could not link against boost_system-boost_system-mt !

Expected Results:  
it should be installed

fixed... sorry... i needed to compile another package to work with that net-libs/rb_libtorrent and that package needed gcc >=4.3.x... so i fixed changing gcc's version and profile to 4.1.2

I'm having exactly the same issue. What was the fix for you? I'm using latest gcc 4.2.2...

Install boost-1.39 and switch to this version using eselect.
