According to the Rocksndiamonds website, http://www.artsoft.org/rocksndiamonds/ there are critical bugs in 3.2.6.0: "2009-02-16 · Critical bug in Rocks'n'Diamonds 3.2.6.0! Please downgrade to version 3.2.4!". Haven't trie the new version myself, though.

Ugly.  I've gone ahead and followed upstream's suggestion and removed this broken version from portage.  Hopefully 3.2.6.1 will be better.
