As far as I'm concerned (and I'm not that much concerned), Ex falso and Quodlibet are different applications. The quodlibet gentoo ebuild compiles and install them together, but I suggest to put them in different ebuilds, so that we can get exfalso without quodlibet (and vice-versa). I do lack proficient knowledge to make the ebuilds, that's why i'm asking here. Thanks! Reproducible: Always Actual Results: Quodlibet and exfalso are built together with the same ebuild Expected Results: A separated ebuild for both exfalso and quodlibet
I'm not fond of arbitrary splits and since upstream packages exfalso into quodlibet that's how we do it. If you want this to happen, please contact upstream about a sane way to do it and preferably get separate tarballs for both of them and probably a third one for the shared code backend.
