Perhaps, /etc/asciidoc/* is wrong.
could you try to remerge asciidoc?

# emerge asciidoc
# dispatch-conf (or etc-update)
# emerge awesome

It worked for me. This bug is INVALID.

And thanks for the tip by the way
(I just rm /etc/asciidoc/ -r before reemerging, I have doing etc-updates, my system doesn't boot after them...)
