You need to remerge ndiswrapper after upgrading your kernel. Should the resulting module still fail to insert, you need to add more information to your report.
Such as:
- the end of dmesg, with the relevant error message
- emerge --info

if i update my kernel to 2.6.28-r1, the results are identic.I resolve with the manual installation of ndiswrapper 1.54 downloaded from sourceforce and compiling with make && make install on kernel 2.6.28.Probably the problem is ndiswrapper 1.53-r1
