gift-cvs masked, (with Accept Keywords;) , it will not emerge

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.AK gift-cvs
2.
3.

Actual Results:  
message that the e-build is masked

Expected Results:  
gift-cvs emerged

It is masked for a reason, use the release version (as suggested by developers).

it's masked because it's broken, dont use it like sami said

Yes a am aware of that, but up until last week i used it with great joy, for 
Apollon it is needed. I am curious wh it stopped working.

If you want it so badly then comment out the lines in package.mask or add net-p2p/gift-cvs to /etc/portage/package.unmask.
