This is an ebuild to compile and install xchat-2.0.4.
It works.

okay, this looks mostly like a straight bump, but rather than a post a portage ebuild (with your modifications), try and post a patch next time. i see you've altered it to x86 (instead of ~x86) and the headers are now missing (which are required by ebuild policy). lastly you've removed the patches, which may be correct if they're obsoleted by this new version, but have you checked that?

yes, and now i use xchat-2.0.4 with my ebuild.
you can remove the patches because there are bug fixes for the patch directly in the source code of xchat.

yep, you're quite right about the patches. will test 2.0.4 and then see if we can get the bump into the tree.

2.0.4 is in the tree, but take note of Mike's comments in #3 regarding how to supply an updated ebuild for the next time. And please refrain from posting straight bumps (no ebuild fixes) within 24hrs. We know about most releases, so give us the time to update them ourselves.
