I synced about 2 weeks ago now and tried upgrading to 177.82 but I kept getting the below error. Your kernel tree might be incomplete, or screwed up somehow. Emerge your kernel sources again, then try.
As I had already updated my gentoo-sources when I first noticed the issue, this time I removed all gentoo-source packages and installed it straight-up. I also rebuilt my kernel and modules just to be safe and this time it took and the compilation was able to finish. Thanks!
