All the info is in developer handbook. Mainly: http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/devrel/handbook/handbook.xml?part=1&chap=4 So we should nuke this. I see the doc mentioned in metadoc.xml files and elsewhere in devrel so maybe the docs team should do the removal / fixing links as they know about guidexml setup more.
/proj/en/* is yours. Nuke whatever you like. Dead liks are yours to fix at the same time. metadoc is smart enough to not list removed files in its indexes. We can unmetadoc it at any time later on.
Yeah, yeah, sure, sure, I'll handle this. I'm such a nice guy. I plan to: 1. Remove the <extraproject> reference to new-dev-training.xml from your toplevel index.xml project file. 2. Remove the reference to n-d-t.xml from quiz/index.xml. 3. Remove the n-d-t.xm file itself from CVS, and make sure it's not lurking in any other English-language metadocs. I dunno if translators have done /proj/foo/devrel or not, but it's not my area, so I won't worry about those broken links, if any. 4. ??? 5. Profit. (This means YOU, devrel!)
Done. Commit log: "Killed new-dev-training.xml per devrel's request on bug 255416. didn't bother with any languages but english, yet i am somehow remarkably guilt-free. translators get to pick up the pieces of the broken links, if any. time for an english party. which reminds me, devrel still has the party hats from LAST time..."
