With my normal MAKEOPTS="-j -l21", portaudio fails to build. With MAKEOPTS=-j1 set in /etc/portage/env/dev-libs/portaudio, it builds and merges fine. [snip] make[2]: Entering directory `/tmp/portage/media-libs/portaudio-19_pre20071207/work/portaudio/bindings/cpp/lib' [snip] make[2]: *** No rule to make target `../../../lib/libportaudio.la', needed by `libportaudiocpp.la'. Stop. [snip] make[2]: Leaving directory `/tmp/portage/media-libs/portaudio-19_pre20071207/work/portaudio/bindings/cpp/lib' Let me know if you need the entire build log and/or emerge --info. FWIW, I'm on ~amd64.
