I have games-rpg/nwn installed in version 1.69 together with games-rpg/nwn-cep-2.0, games-rpg/nwn-data version 1.29-r3 (with linguas_en hou sou videos nowin cdinstall USEflags) and games-rpg/nwmouse-0.1-r1, as well as games-rpg/nwmovies-0.2. Recently nwmovies began to show a strange behaviour. after syncing protage now nwmovies wants to pull in >=games-rpg/nwn-data-1.29-r3[videos] on emerge -NuaDv world. Although nwn still seems to work fine for me i am unable to perform an emerge -NuaDv world. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge -NuaDv world 2. 3. Actual Results: emerge -NuaDv world Calculating world dependencies | emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy ">=games-rpg/nwn-data-1.29-r3[videos]". (dependency required by "games-rpg/nwmovies-0.2" [installed]) I guess this might be related to this change: 09 Jan 2009; Michael Sterrett <mr_bones_@gentoo.org> nwmovies-0.2.ebuild: EAPI=2; add use-based dep for games-rpg/nwn-data
A few syncs later the dependency is resolved properly now. I guess my system hadn't fully implemented EAPI2 when the problem appeared.
