Description Joonas Kortesalmi 2003-07-29 07:45:02 UTC
There is no IPv6 support in links2 in portage. I couldn't find a patch for it
from the 'net, it's possible there isn't any. This support would be neat though,
so it might be worth writing, because links2 is the only good browser with nice
framebuffer and svgalib support :)

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. open links and go to an IPv6 site :)
Actual Results:
host not found

Expected Results:
opened the page successfully

Fixing this might require programming skills and experience with patching
software with IPv6 support :)

I have no time to add ipv6 support to links. Please ask that kind of stuff to the developpers of links.

Thanks

FYI, Here <http://www.nabble.com/IPv6-patch-for-www-links-td1812555.html> is advertised patch from 2005-02-23. It fails on current links-2.2. I will try to get it together when I have free time.

It was easy. Try patch from http://xpisar.wz.cz/links-ipv6/
