Description Boyd Waters 2003-07-28 23:20:36 UTC
The compile fails because the ./Configure script in pcmcia-cs does not identify
CONFIG_PCMCIA for me. But it is in fact defined in /usr/src/linux/.config

I created a patch that forces CONFIG_PCMCIA=y in the Configure script. This
allows me to run the compilation by hand, but it still fails when driven from an
ebuild. But that is not the best way to do it...

emerging pcmcia-cs instead of pcmcia-cs-tools WORKSFORME.

I suggest that pcmcia-cs-tools and -drivers be removed from portage unless there is some other reason for keeping them around.

In any case, I think this bug should be closed.

Great, closing the bug.
