Hi, It seems this is caused by having "-g" in CFLAGS. I added this some time ago and forgot about it. Using CFLAGS="-march=pentium-m -pipe -O2" works.
well, we can't reproduce it and you seem to have fixed it for yourself. I'll guess this was some kind of weird gcc behaviour or filesystem corruption, dunno. anyway, closing for now
