As soon as firefox' preferences are opened a 'Desktop' directory in ~ is created. This annoying behaviour should be toogleable.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Preferences
2.
3.

Actual Results:  
A Desktop directory is created

Expected Results:  
Leave it alone unless the downloads directory is changed (this seems to be the only use for it)
