Description Permjacov E. A. 2009-01-10 22:13:25 UTC
On my system (gentoo x86-32 linux) sci-chemistry/mopac7-1.14 ebuild does not install executables even if ebuild looks like it has to.
sci-chemistry/mopac7-1.13-r1 does install executables.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1)emerge =mopac7-1.14

Actual Results:
mopac7 or run_mopac7 - there is NO such command!

Expected Results:
mopac7 and run_mopac7 commands should appear in the sistem. Even ebuild itself pretends to install them.

Note:
mopac7-1.13-r1 ebuild edits src/Makefile.am
mopac7-1.14 ebuild edits ./Makefile.am

Looks strange.
Comment 1 Rene Meier 2009-01-18 14:16:14 UTC
your are right. i have recognized the nissing executable as well some weeks ago. but until today i had no time to investigate this. this mopac7 release is completely different compared to 7.13. the generation of the library and the executables uses now gfortran and not f2c. the source directory has been renamed from src to fortran. to make a long story short: we need a new ebuild for this! I have a working ebuild and will attach it.
