Description David Williams 2009-01-09 23:06:42 UTC
Building glibc with linux-headers-2.6.27 always fails in the same place. If I downgrade to linux-headers-2.6.23-r3 glibc builds fine.

Reproducible: Always

I haven't included the whole build log as it's over 10M!

WORKAROUND: If I add glibc_omitfp to my USE flags it will build fine

I tried glibc-omitfp instead of glibc_omitfp, it was easier trying this one ;) Unfortunately it didn't solve the problem for me.

I tried compiling without distcc and it worked on two different machines. I even tried with and without glibc-omitfp. Both worked as far as I didn't use distcc. So my problem were related to distcc after all.

glibc-2.8 is stable now
