recent e2fsprogs create by default ext3 partitions with inode size = 256
As pointed out in bug 214563 old versions of grub cannot boot such partitions.
sys-boot/grub was already updated and marked stable.
Please mark stable >=sys-boot/grub-static-0.97-r6 too! This solves the problem of non bootlable no-multilib systems

If having a non bootable system has "normal" severity, I'm curious to know what king of bug is "critical"...

amd64 stable, all arches done.
