Bug 25400 – Ebuild request for Background Buddy

I would like to request an ebuild for Background Buddy. (bgbuddy)

It's an automatic wallpaper rotating daemon which works under GNOME 2.x, XFCE,
FluxBox, and WindowMaker.

Note: I did search bugzilla with keywords buddy, bgbuddy and background, and
couldn't find an existing bug for this app.

i can only find this available in binary form from the authors homepage, behind a request for donation. two questions here are, a) not sure how happy the author would be if we are linking straight to his software, and past his license and b) the binary-only availability.

foser/liqx: any comments on a), reporter: any comments on the second issue, specifically if you know of any source availability (would be preferable)

quite right spider, my bad entirely. im still not sure about the linking straight past the donation page though.

Neither am I as I havent read the QPL to its full extent, nor am I sure I'd want to turn on fetch-restriction either, so I have the slight feel to simply scrap this request.

I don't think the license should be a problem, but the package homepage seems
to be unavailable at the moment.
