Description Jonathan Glines 2009-01-06 01:08:57 UTC
Synergy is causing my mouse to stop responding to clicks. I can move the cursor, but clicks don't work. The problem is always reproducible when I try to use synergy to control my Linux laptop (running both Arch and Kubuntu). Using synergy with my Mac also sometimes causes it, but not always. What's worse is it happens at random even when synergys isn't running. I have already posted a bug report on synergy's tracker:
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=2240595&group_id=59275&atid=490467
But I decided to post it again on this tracker for two reasons. First, it happens even when synergys isn't running. Second, the bug does not appear when I use either Arch or Kubuntu as the synergy server, making it specific to Gentoo.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Look at the sourceforge bug for steps to reproduce. Note that sometimes it happens at random without synergys running. Also note that even when it occurs at random, the bug can be fixed by following the steps to reproduce.

Also interesting, focus stops following the cursor (which is how I have fluxbox and openbox set up), even though the cursor can be moved.

I'm sorry that this bug wasn't resolved in a timely fashion. I just picked up maintainership of the package and in order to move foward, I'll kindly request that you test against the latest versions, 1.3.6 or 1.4.5-r1
