Description Kahuna 2003-07-27 16:13:34 UTC
I know that this build is masked, but I tried to emerge it anyway. I tried to
compile it with less flags, but it doesn't emerge correctly.

Here comes the error:

Could you give the output that is gotten from
emerge /usr/portage/app-office/openoffice-1.1_beta2 &>/tmp/openoffice.log
the &> is quite essential as it ensures a correct inserting of messages from the standarderror buffer. Your output has them all running through the normal output in a way it is unclear to see what is wrong

And strip all of the following flags: "-fforce-addr -fomit-frame-pointer
-funroll-loops -falign-functions=4 -maccumulate-outgoing-args". Preferrably also from your emerge of glibc and gcc. These flags are dangerous, and can create bugs.

Please try 1.1.0
