easystroke is a gesture-recognition application for X11. It aims to be highly configurable while at the same time providing an intuitive user interface. It was designed primarily for use on a Tablet PC, but it also works quite well with a mouse. got used to it when using ubuntu, can't believe nobody wrote an ebuild yet... ;) Reproducible: Always
Created attachment 177406 [details] ebuild for easystroke
Builds and runs fine on amd64. What about adding it to the tree? This is really handy as the KDE 4.2 mouse gestures are still broken.
I can confirm that it compiles and works perfectly on amd64. The ebuild works fine with the current version 0.4.1 of easystroke. Please add it to the tree! It's a really great replacement (and even more than that) for the KDE internal feature.
Created attachment 193488 [details] ebuild for easystroke-0.4.5 This new ebuild installs the latest version of easystroke (0.4.5) for ~x86 and ~amd64. It can also be found in my overlay (layman -a tante).
ebuild for easystroke-0.4.5 works also for easystroke-0.5.0
Created attachment 229561 [details] Modified ebuild for easystroke, because of xinput category change Ebuild for 0.5.3. Actually just a minor fix in the 0.4.5 ebuild, w.r.t. the category change of xinput (x11-misc/xinput ? x11-apps/xinput).
Created attachment 243253 [details] easystroke-0.5.4 version bump, ldflags and desktop.in fixes * Update to 0.5.4. * Fixes "Files without respecting LDFLAGS" QA warning. * Fixes icon path in desktop.in because the icon would not appear in the menu. "QA: pre-stripped files found" message still appears, someone needs to fix this makefile.
Very nice, I just need this program, thanks!
sorry for bug #351195. anyway, may it be usefull to advise that easystroke-0.5.4 source file is no more available on sourceforge, because it is git distributed at git://github.com/thjaeger/easystroke.git .
*** Bug 351195 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
I downloaded easystroke-0.5.4 source from sourceforge right now. So it IS available on sourceforge again. How about putting it into sunrise till it gets in the main tree? Looks like the "sabayon" folks are also working on it, in their overlay: http://gpo.zugaina.org/x11-misc/easystroke I second the proposal for this to be added to Sunrise. (in the meantime, I've also tossed the easystroke-0.5.4 ebuild [the one attached to this bug] in my user overlay "write2David")

Created attachment 315991 [details] ebuild for 0.5.5.1 Working and somewhat improved ebuild for 0.5.5.1.
The sabayon-overlay by now contains an ebuild for 0.5.6, which also contains a patch for the installed icons. I tested it just now and bumping to the more recent version 0.6.0 by simple renaming produced a workings installation with easystroke 0.6.0 for me.
0.6.0 is in the tree. Please file new bug reports for any problems you might find with the current ebuild.
