net-analyzer/dsniff depends on =net-libs/dsniff-1.18, but should instead depend on just net-libs/dsniff. I am using dsniff together with net-libs/libnids-1.22, as I had problems with libnids-1.18 not recognizing the state of my wireless card. It works fine with libnids-1.22.
