On the mirrors I have tried, there are no stage builds for the 20081231 weekly autobuild. The .DIGESTS and .CONTENTS files are there, but there are no .bz2 files. This issue was due to an interaction between a new feature in our autobuild scripts and a catalyst "feature". It's been fixed in git, and future builds shouldn't have this issue.
Hmm, the problem is still present on 20090107 though.
Whoops. It looks like I forgot to actually upgrade catalyst on poseidon. This is done now. The next builds should be correct.
