I have made an ebuild for 2.0.0-alpha but do not know how to name the ebuild so that ebuild(1) would not complain about the naming convention. Other than that it works but make sure primer3-2.0.0.ebuild will install over once it exists.

Thanks for reporting. Will not bump until stable version is released by upstream.
