This is a very nice applet, which shows you current keyboard layout and allows
you to change it byt clicking on language flag. I propose to place it into
gnome-extra category.

It depends on libxklavier library (attached), which I propose to place into
x11-misc.

libxklavier ebuild - it's a dependency from gswithit.

This ebuild uses local USE flag 'doxygen'. If it is set then doxygen will be a
dependency and the doc will be generated.

GSwithIt ebuild.

I gues my initial description was not complete actually. This is not only
keyboard layout switcher, but a also a component for gnome control panel, which
allows you easily set up XKB.

It is part of gnome-2.6. Think no need for this anymore.
