Description johnathan spectre 2002-05-07 11:32:38 UTC
just a suggestion, to the packages page, can you add the 1line blurb about the
pagage that we find when we "emerge -s <packagename>"? would be very helpful to
see what everything is, especially with the growing number of packages.

thanks! keep up the good work!

looking much better, you can browse and see what things are. i was hopeing more
for the older table form with one more column listing the descriptions, but
maybe it would be too wide to view easily on the web. but it's very nice to see
what something is easily online than doing emerge -s over and over (which is a
bit slow :-( ). users can browse between packages and then merge on what they want.

aprt from being too wide, it would take far too long to render, let alone
doanload, (think of bandwidth that would use *wince*).

Emerge -s should be getting quicker soon as well :).

Peitolm.

Closing this one off. email me if you have any more suggestions
