ati driver reinstall fails
I've found several similar reports, the files mentioned there are missing. After studying the log for a while i came up with the following solution: -- cd /usr/src/linux make clean && make modules emerge mesa -- I don't know how things got screwed up though, the kernel didn't change.
Please post your `emerge --info' in a comment and attach the entire build log to this bug report.
I've reinstalled it several more times, yet the described behavior never repeated.
